The Nirahh Note
I have asked myself this more than once.
Work travel can be hard on clothes. There is the airport, the luggage, the cab, the hotel room, the laptop bag—and then, somehow, a full day of meetings.
I don't usually take my most delicate sarees when I travel. I choose something that won't worry me if it gets folded into a suitcase and needs a little ironing later. I also keep the blouse and accessories together, so I am not standing in a hotel room the next morning wondering where everything is.
I have learnt that the saree doesn't have to arrive looking exactly the way it left home.
Neither do we.
