Your Saree Doesn't Make You a Leader. You Are One.

I’ve never believed that a saree makes a woman more powerful.

It doesn’t make her smarter. It doesn’t make her a better leader. And it certainly doesn’t earn her a seat at the table.

But when she wears something she loves and feels comfortable in, I think that matters.

On days that matter, I like wearing something I’m comfortable in. Something I don’t have to think about once I leave home.

Then I can think about the meeting.

The decision.

The people in the room.

The saree is simply there with me
